ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Drewlec Ltd is a general electrical contractor with expertise in fire alarms & emergency lighting systems in the commercial sector.
We recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment arising from our consumption of raw materials, energy and water and from our generation of waste and emissions to land, air and water.
In order to minimise that environmental impact we are committed to:
- Complying with all environmental legislation, regulations and codes of practice relevant to the industry sector in which we operate
- The continual improvement in our environmental performance and the prevention of pollution
- Provide the resources and training to ensure that our staff understand this policy and can manage environmental issues in the correct manner
- Minimising waste and making efficient use of energy and materials on our sites and in our office
- Segregate our waste for recycling or reuse whenever possible
- Minimise our use of fossil fuels by regularly servicing our vehicles to maintain their efficiency
- Publish this policy on our website and provide a copy to anyone who legitimately requests one
- Review this Policy annually to take account of changes in organisation, legislation or other internal or external factors
