BS5839 places a responsibility on the “Duty Holder” of the building to ensure that the fire alarm and emergency lighting system is properly tested, serviced and maintained.
Test & check frequencies required by BS5839 are:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Quarterly
- Annually
Each system has specific requirements and checks should be recorded where necessary in a Fire Safety Log Book.
We can organise a quarterly servicing regime for your new fire alarm & emergency light system within our servicing department. Our dedicated Service co-ordinator will pre-arrange service dates with you well in advance. Following our engineers visit any repairs to the system are notified to clients, carried out and the certifcate is issued
