The Directors are supported by both full-time and part-time office staff at the Group’s Offices in Bournemouth.Our staff and operatives can offer a wealth of experience to clients. However, it is vital for all staff to update their skills and be reminded of good working practice. Therefore regular training is undertaken to ensure best practice and to reinforce health and safety awareness.

Richard Drewitt joined the business in 1989 after qualifying as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and gaining experience with other local contractors. He is fully involved with all aspects of the business but particularly with Drewlec Limited, of which he is Managing Director. Drewlec Limited employs six electricians and an apprentice.

Gillian Drewitt is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in property matters and joined the business in 1993. Gillian looks after the Company’s property portfolio together with Group administrative matters and is Managing Director of James Drewitt & Son Limited.

Eric Lever joined the business in 1971 and is the Managing Director of Drewsons Building Maintenance. The services offered are undertaken by a directly employed workforce under Eric’s supervision. Specialist sub-contractors are used where necessary.
Paul Penny joined the company in 1979 and has over 27 years experience in the building industry. He is Contracts Manager for Drewson Building Maintenance and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business.
Malcolm Wood has over 32 years experience in the electrical contracting industry. As Drewlec’s recently appointed Contracts Manager he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company.
