The Avenue Shopping Centre, Bournemouth

Drewlec Ltd, a sister company within the Drewitt Group, has successfully completed a 3 year full service maintenance contract with The Avenue Shopping Centre in Bournemouth.

This busy town centre shopping facility offers a wide variety of stores over several floors.

Drewlec has been responsible for the repair and maintenance of the building and provision of all electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance services. For example our electrician’s have put up and taken down the Christmas lights in the shopping centre each year. The Company has also arranged for the repair and maintenance element of the contract to be dealt with by Drewsons Building Maintenance.

This Client also made use of our 24hr emergency call out service - vital to the Centre’s operational capabilities.

In consultation with the Centre’s managers we advised on ways of reducing power consumption and designed and installed new lighting to common areas of the centre resulting in a 25% reduction in energy use in those areas.
